Founded in July 2012, Fussy Busty provides detailed reviews of full busted bras, swimwear and various fashion items in the following size ranges: 28FF-GG, and 38J-K, 40HH-K. Its writers are based in the UK and the US, providing readers with a diverse perspective of brands, location, and purchase availability. The writers provide insight on bra fitting techniques as well as commentary about body and social issues.

Hi! I’m Nicole, and I’m the editor/primary author of this blog. Welcome!

I’m 25, from Ohio, and am obsessed with bras. Unrelated to bras, I have a Master’s Degree in Psychology, and spend my time with my husband and 3 fur-kids. In June of 2013 I started working on a second master’s with hopes of licensure and haven’t looked back since.

I have over 4 years of experience fitting customers, family and friends for bras – yet surprisingly, I did not start wearing the right bra size until June of 2012. Read my story here: My Busty Story. It’s amazing how much your world can be changed when you start wearing the right size.

For  sizing reference, I am 5’4″, about 275 pounds, I wear a US size 18/20 tops, size 22 bottoms, and 18/20  dress. My under bust measures 40″, and my bust measurement is 54″. Current Sizes (UK Sizing): Curvy Kate – 40JJ, Panache – 38JJ, Elomi -40J, Ewa Michalak – 90J/JJ, Freya – 38K, Bravissimo 38K

Hi! I’m Amy! I’m 21 years old a Psychology graduate from England where I live in a basement with my boyfriend. 

In November 2013 I started wearing the correct(ish) bra size, and since then the search for a ‘perfect bra’ has just about taken over my life. I try to get all of the girls in my life into better fitting bras, and spread the joy of a good fit.
Sizing info:

UK8/10/US4/6 Dresses and Bottoms, UK10/12/US6/8 for tops depending on the type.
Bust 27″ under, 35″ bust, currently 28G in Uk brands and 65FF/G in Ewa Michalak

  2. I was just curious if you know of any websites (or people who would ship bras) that can make a custom bra? I mean, I’ve seen all kinds of places that do custom sizes, but I want a special look! I can’t seem to locate a place that does special request themes, annnnd I live in Oklahoma where specialty stores are nonexistent.

    • Hi Lesley!

      Depending on what size you wear, Etsy is a great resource for custom made items. If you go to http://www.etsy.com and simply search for “custom bras” you will find lots of sellers that are willing to work with you to put something together.

      Also, depending on what you are looking for, have you ever tried Curvy Kate’s showgirl range? BraStop.com always has great sales and sells a lot of Curvy Kate bras.
